Lake Amistad for the week of June 23 2008

Water clear; 86 degrees; 17.47' low.
Black bass: Good on chartreuse Yamamoto Senkos, topwaters, Zoom Super Flukes, and Carolina rigged 10" soft plastic worms in 16 - 28 feet.
Striped bass: Fair on large red fins near the dam.
White bass are slow. Crappie are slow.
Catfish: to 4 pounds are good on cheesebait and punchbait in 16 - 22 feet, and in 94 feet. Yellow catfish are slow.
Mexican fishing licenses are required to fish Mexican waters. Everyone in the boat must have a Mexican fishing license whether fishing or not. Mexican boat permits are no longer required.
