Hi, my name is Jc Gwynne or “The Amistad Man” as some have come to know me, on the Texas Fishing Forum. I have had the pleasure and great fortune to be raised on beautiful Lake Amistad and have been fishing it for over 25 years.

I’ve seen this lake at its highest and lowest levels and have used the knowledge gained through countless hours over the years of fishing this lake, as well as experience gained from fishing numerous tournament circuits throughout Texas, to bring you an awesome learning experience, on what the fishing industry has named the best bass lake in the state.

I currently devote all my attention to staying on the fish, as well as perfecting and developing great new techniques to capitalize on all Amistad has to offer. I no longer fish tournaments and don’t guide on any other lake in the area, instead I choose to devote all my efforts to providing my clients with a learning and productive day of fishing this great lake. The reward of seeing a smile on a new angler as well as the shaking hand after a seasoned bass fisherman has landed his biggest fish to date, provide me with all the excitement and reward I need to be and feel successful.
